Experience

Toni’s experience encompasses a range of areas within OD – from competency design and strategic skills identification through to executive coaching and group facilitation and leadership development – all of which are focused on helping the individual and organisation to move forward.  Her main interest and expertise lies in leadership (and particularly in executive coaching and group leadership development), and she has worked with many senior level leaders and teams to help them increase their effectiveness and leverage their strengths. Toni’s area of research is investigating how coaching impacts bottom-line measures of organisational effectiveness: productivity, profitability, employee retention and client satisfaction.

Toni has worked successfully with clients ranging from professors and surgeons to Senior Civil Servants, private sector CEOs and Directors in fields as diverse such as bio-medical, engineering, building services, architecture, retail, media, legal and telecoms.

Personal Style

Toni’s style as a coach and facilitator is often described as fun, challenging, insightful and supportive. She deploys a humanistic and integrated style of coaching, first focusing closely on understanding the coachee and their context and then using tools from various disciplines that suit both the coachee and situation and which allow them to take on new perspectives and learning.  When facilitating groups, she helps them to challenge their own assumptions and draw on their experience to learn new ways of doing things.  Her style is energetic and fun, but always honest and supportive.
