Sarah has spent her career as a teacher and a manager in FE Colleges, where she initially taught English, Media and Communication, and later became a senior manager with joint responsibility for strategy, policy and procedure in an organisation with a 12M turnover.
In 1998 she completed an MBA, which confirmed her belief in the importance of a culture of continuous improvement and continuous learning in any organisation which aims to be outstanding. She has since devised and delivered staff training and staff appraisal systems which promote this belief.
Random fact: In the late 1990s I went with my husband and young children to spend a year on a job and house exchange in Boston, Massachusetts. Our perspective on our life back in England was changed forever by the experience!
